Connecticut Fire Photos
Here are fire photos from various towns in Connecticut. I live in Enfield and in addition to buffing in Hartford I have buffed other towns and cities and have added to my collection of photos from these areas. Here's just a small sample of this part of my collection.
Firefighters from the Thompsonville Fire Dept (Enfield) battle a small fire in a detached garage.
Warehouse Point (East Windsor) firefighters pick up after a small kitchen fire on Scantic Rd and Hazardville (Enfield) firegfighters fight a two alarm fire at Westvaco Corp which manufacturers envelopes.
FIrefighters from all 5 fire districts in Enfield battled a stubborn two alarm blaze on Enfield Street. The fire sent 5 firefighters to the hospital with burns and smoke inhalation.
Firefighters from Somers and several nearby towns battle a 3 Alarm fire in a large 3 story wood frame private dwelling on Root Road.
On September 11th the Fire Departments of Enfield held a memorial. Many members of the community as well as about 60 firefighters were present. A single rose sits beneath the bell as a reminder of those lost, some of the firefighters on the lawn at the Phoenix Ave fire station and Lt Tom Burnham rings the bell to commemorate the collapse of one of the twin towers.
Store employees at Ames Department Store in Enfield stand outside after being evacuated for 5 hours due to a freon leak. Fire Officials, Store Officials and a health department official speak about the situation, and Firefigters Jay Carlton and Maurice Larosa enter the building to take another set of meter readings.
Left to Right - In November 2001, the town of Enfield in conjunction with Johnson Memorial Hospital conducted a Weapons of Mass Destruction Drill at Nathan Hale School. The product was serin gas.

Left to Right - Three photos from a MCI in Somers. Several people were hurt when a state corrections van carrying prisoners missed a stop sign and hit a pick up with two people aboard.
